A tortilla wrap is a very common lunchtime meal, but placing nori around the tortilla takes this meal to a whole new level. We all need to get more seaweed into our diets and a nori wrap is the perfect way to do it. Nori contains a broad range of minerals, phytonutrients and vitamins.

Directions for: Tortilla Nori Wrap

Ingredients

1 tortilla wrap

1 sheet nori

1 piece leftover salmon, chicken or red beans

2 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

cup green cabbage, shredded

1 carrot, julienned

1 small handful sunflower sprouts

1 Tbsp sesame seeds

3 tsp miso

2 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp honey

Directions

1. Place a nori sheet down and place the tortilla on top of it.

2. Quickly mix together the miso, sesame oil and honey and spread it around the tortilla.

3. Place the leftover salmon, cilantro, cabbage, carrot, sprouts and sesame seeds on top of the miso in the middle of the wrap.

4. Begin folding the wrap in like a burrito: fold in the side closest to you and roll the two outer sides in. Then begin rolling the nori around it. You may need to slightly moisten the nori to prevent it from ripping. Simply wet your fingers, shake off excess water and dab the nori.

5. Finish rolling the tortilla and nori up and voila!
