Directions for: Breakfast Melon Ball Crunch


1 large melon, cantaloupe or honeydew, halved and seeded.

cup (125mL) vanilla yoghurt

cup (50mL) dried cranberries

cup (50mL) granola


1. Using melon baller, or tablespoon-sized ice-cream scoop, scoop flesh out of each side of melon, making about 24 melon balls. With paring knife, level bottom off each ball. Using paring knife or serrated spoon, scoop out hollow in top of each ball, careful not to pierce the bottom.

2. Fill each ball with about 1 teaspoon (5mL) yoghurt. Top with granola (about teaspoon, 1mL) and garnish with a dried cranberry.Serve immediately.
